Farewell Gypsy Moon…
Well, we made a huge decision and decided it was time to move into a larger RV. When we first ventured into RV living…we kept to our thought of less is better, and choose a smallish travel trailer. What we didn’t realize was how taxing it would be on her to have 4 people and a dog, living in it full time. It was made for short get aways not full time living and since we know we plan to be on the road for a few more years (at least) we realized it’s time to look for something else. So, after some much needed research, figuring out if a motorhome or a 5th wheel would be our next home, we decided to purchase a 5th Wheel. But before I share more about our Luna Bella…our new 5th Wheel. I realized I never really shared any of the personal touches I made to our Gypsy Moon…to brighten her up some. So farewell Gypsy Moon, thanks for the memories…
I started by adding some color…in the way of covering all the cushions with bright colored fabric. We had a blast choosing fabrics and thanks to Joanne’s awesome coupon deals we kept it in budget…here’s a before and after shot.
Soon after I changed the window dressing to strips of fabric…it was super easy to do and I loved the look…
I found this awesome wall decal that I thought would look perfect around the dinning table light…when you look up this is what you see.
Besides the personal touches we also had to get creative with our organizing. Finding a place for my herb rack was one of them. I found these cute little magnet containers that fit perfectly over top of the stove, and walla a place for all my herbs!
We also put up a railing, for our little on. Soon after we moved in one night I heard a loud thump. He rolled right off his bunk and onto the dog’s bed which is a thick plushy pillow. Thank goodness it was there to cushion his fall.
We enjoyed our time with Gypsy Moon and hope she finds a wonderful new home…
