Grandy Creek

Grandy Creek RV Resort…

For a Thousand Trails resort…Grandy Creek really surprised us…it was very well kept, the staff was very attentive to everyone’s needs.  This was also a KOA…somehow they both shared the same park, maybe this is what made it so different.  Although, I soon found out that KOA members had to pay extra for all the amenities…I don’t know much about the KOA membership but now I see that it wouldn’t work well for us.  None the less I was impressed with Grandy Creek and in my opinion out of all the TT resorts we’ve stayed out this was the best.

Their sites were divided between KOA and TT members, they had certain sites the TT members could use.  But we found plenty of  well kept sites.  They had an average size pool, Clean bathrooms and Laundry room.  They had a fairly large park with a very large jumping pillow…which ended up being Keagan’s most favorite amenity!

They had a lot of land and space in the park.  Beyond the little tree back there was Ty’s and Kaia’s ball catching area…away from the crowds.

While at Grandy Creek we did some hiking and enjoyed some amazing views!  The hike to the reservoir was one of my favorites, we saw beautiful views of Mtn Shuksan. Not only did the energizer bunny (Kaia) enjoy the long hike but the reservoir was perfect for her to cool off in while swim and playing ball!   Off to Birch Bay…which will be a few miles from the Canadian border…the furthest North we’ve all ever been…
